We are a boutique Pilates Studio in the heart of Santa Fe, New Mexico. While we deeply believe in the transformative power of the Pilates Repertoire and equipment (we are fully equipped with Balanced Body apparatus) to see people one-on-one or duets, we take the liberty to teach the "human in front of us".
One size does not fit all as every body answers to different cues, to liberate old patterns. We are rooted in Pilates and inspired by Yoga, Dance, Tai Chi, Kickboxing and more. We craft a custom session for the individual.

Most people who walk through the doors of my studio are in pain, be it from injury or lack of movement, unable to live a life they really want to live. Some are and have been exercising for a long time and have wrecked their bodies, wanting to improve their sports performance.
At Rise we are able to help clients with chronic pain due to lack of movement, years of over-stretching and repetitive "bad behavior" which is especially prevalent in women in their 50's-70's. We rehabilitate painful hip and pelvic issues, improve balance and deepen core strength that only a consistent Pilates practice can give you.
If you're a senior, athlete, recovering from injury or looking for a strong, resilient body, a good foundation is the basis for any successful practice.
Classical Pilates might not be our first choice, I have a big bag of movement tricks to choose from. My approach is functional movement over speed and quick progression. My teachers were Laban analysts, somatic movement practitioners and Physical therapists as well as Pilates professionals.
I will help you study how your body works and moves and together we will create a new awareness.

Chantall has an incredible wealth of knowledge of body mechanics, physiology, and anatomy. It is clear that she is passionate about her work and she is patient, observant, and a phenomenal Pilates instructor. If it weren’t for her instruction, I’m sure my quality of life and pain level would be intolerable. Highly highly recommended.
Let me just say that I am not "fond" of exercising! However, Chantall actually made it an enjoyable experience. I am in my 70's & needed some core strength training . . . starting from "square one". Chantall was great at evaluating my condition -- and then she started at the beginning & built up.
Chantall is so committed to health, wellness and vibrancy it's a joy to be around her. She's always looking for ways to enhance her fitness and she radiates well being. She's also got such a great sense of humor, a direct straight way of saying things, and a deep level of research into proper use of the muscles and function of bodies that she is a wise person to be entrusted with gaining health and fitness in oneself.
Chantall's (online) Pilates class has been so healing. I have reconnected with my body in ways that no other modality and teacher have helped me. I'm able to better understand my own body and the best ways to support it.
